-- 31 titles from among the works of late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran translated into 18 languages were unveiled during a ceremony held yesterday, February 7 in Tehran.
The books have been published by the Al-Hoda Publications (affiliated with the ICRO) in cooperation with the International Affairs of the Institute for Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works.
The will of Imam Khomeini and works on themes including Islamic government, Ashura uprising, Palestine, Islamic revolution, the Islamic world, religion and politics, mysticism and politics, character of woman, prophetic tradition (Seerah), international system and human rights, have been translated into English, French, Russian, German, Italian, Bosnian, Czech, Turkish, Tajik, Malay, Chinese, Arabic, Tamil, Croatian, Bengali, Azeri, Kirgiz and Persian.
According to Ali Madadi, managing director of the publication, characteristics and works of Imam Khomeini, as the founder of the Islamic government, are accepted and respected not only among Muslims but also in non Muslim countries. “Accordingly, the institute has started a project to get all of the late Imam’s works translated into most of the languages of the world and published in the form of eBooks.”
“It is one of the main objectives of Al-Hoda International Publication in the coming year to distribute the valuable religious and cultural sources of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the international level and to make them available for those interested from inside and outside of the country,” he added.
