Political group: Bush has impertinently asked Saudi Arabian authorities to delete – or not to teach – those Quranic verses that refer to jihad, disobeying the infidel, encouragement to do good and discouragement to do evil.
Iqna, quoting Rasa, reported ayatollah Nouri Hamedani, addressing the members of Qom Quran and Ahlol-Albeit Center, highlighting the importance of Islamic government and, reciting Imam Ali's saying, emphasized the similarity of people to their rulers more than that of their parents.
Answering the question asking why the great Islamic civilization that could overcome those of Rome and Persia, and make Jewism and Christianity kneel, suddenly found itself overshadowed by westernization, ayatollah Hamedani said: We are paying the cost of deviation in the path of Islam. If, the successors of the prophet and the Imams had ruled courageously and righteously, we would have not faced this many problems.
This source of imitation regarded Bush, Blair and Sharon as the arch-enemies of Islam and added: : Bush has impertinently asked Saudi Arabian authorities to delete – or not to teach – those Quranic verses that refer to jihad, disobeying the infidel, encouragement to do good and discouragement to do evil. However, the Saudi religious scholars did not let the authorities consent to this.
Referring to the last will and testament of Imam Khomeini, in which Saghaleyn hadith, Nahj-al-Balagheh, and Sahifeh Sajjadieh as the honor of Shi'ites, he further said: Among the texts that are to be re-read by scholars are the will of Imam Khomeini, martyr Sani's Maniat-al-Morid, and Adab-al-Mote'allemin by Nasir-al-Din Tousi.
Ayatollah Hamedani, quoting a hadith by the prophet, considered Quran as the most precious capital of human, and said that words, translation, and interpretation are the three steps of familiarization with Quran. He also quoted a speech from Nahj-al-Balagheh in which Quran is named the light that shows the right path, illuminates the hearts and cures all maladies.
Seminary scholar considered the translation of Dr Elahi Ghomshe'ee and the interpretation of Allameh Hussein Tabataba'ee, the best of their kind and concluded: To understand Quran and the prophet's progeny's sayings, it is necessary to learn Arabic syntax and conjugation.
