--The International Quran News Agency (IQNA) has made significant contributions in recent years to improving the shortcomings regarding Quranic activities’ information dissemination.

This is according to Seyyed Qasem Al-Holou, head of Najaf’s Reciters and Memorizers Association, who, speaking to IQNA, also said that Quran activists and figures were always worried about learning more about Quranic news adding that "The need has now been addressed since IQNA’s establishment".

Describing information dissemination on Quran activities as essential, he said that, “Media play a pivotal role in spreading Quranic thoughts so making great advancements in this field needs to be taken into consideration”.

He went on to say that even the Holy Quran itself underlines the importance of information dissemination regarding inviting people to get familiar with Islamic principles by the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Head of Najaf’s Quran Sciences and Nah-ul-Balaqe Institute further said that all media need to take step to address Quranic issues in social, political, and cultural fields.
