Mulla Sadra’s Home near Qom

TEHRAN (IQNA) –  Sadr ad-Din Muhammad Shirazi, known as Mulla Sadra (1571–1636), was an Iranian Twelver Shia philosopher, theologian, and Alim who led the Iranian cultural renaissance in the 17th century.  

He is arguably the most significant Islamic philosopher after Avicenna.

He spent the last 15 years of his life in the Kahak Village near Qom. His home and two other historic houses in Kahak are now a tourist attraction.
