Asmaul Husna Tawasheeh Performed at Prophet's Mosque
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Some members of Iran’s Noor Quranic Convoy performed Asmaul Husna Tawasheeh at Prophet’s Mosque in Medina during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.
Asmaul Husna refers to 99 names of God Almighty in Islam. Some of the names have been mentioned in the Holy Quran and others in hadith.
Selected Quran reciters, memorizers and Tawasheeh groups from Iran are sent to Saudi Arabia during Hajj annually to perform Quranic programs in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
The 20-strong convoy in this year includes Quran masters, qaris, and memorizers as well as a Tawasheeh (religious singing) group.
