Recitation of Ramadan-Related Verse by Egyptian Reciter Al-Saadani

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The blessed month of Ramadan, the month of revelation of the Quran, is the best time for reciting the Holy Book and learning and getting inspiration from its teachings.

We revealed the Quran on the Night of Destiny

Hence, one of the main acts of worship in this month is reading, reciting and contemplating the Quran, and Surah Al-Qadr is a chapter with special importance in Ramadan.

Following is recitation of verse 185 of Surah Al-Baqarah by late Egyptian qari Muhammed Ahmed Sulaiman Al-Saadani.

"The month of Ramadan is the month in which the Koran was sent down, a guidance for people, and clear verses of guidance and the criterion. Therefore, whoever of you witnesses the month, let him fast. But he who is ill, or on a journey shall (fast) a similar number (of days) later on. Allah wants ease for you and does not want hardship for you. And that you fulfill the number of days and exalt Allah who has guided you in order that you be thankful."
