Iranian Qaris Recite Verses from Surah Al-Alaq near Mecca (+Video)
MECCA (IQNA) – Two young Iranian qaris recited verses from Surah Al-Alaq of the Holy Quran during a visit to Jabal al-Nour near the holy city of Mecca.
Mohammad Hosseinipour and Mohammad Mehdi Rouhani performed the recitation in the form of Munafisah (taking turns to recite the verses).
The two are members of the Noor Quranic Convoy of the Islamic Republic of Iran dispatched to Saudi Arabia to hold Quranic programs in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina during the Hajj pilgrimage.
Following is footage of their recitation of Verses 1-5 of Surah Al-Alaq:
“Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, created the human from a (blood) clot. Recite! Your Lord is the most Honorable One, who taught by the pen, taught the human what he did not know.”
