Mecca’s Jannat Al-Mu'alla in Pictures
MECCA (IQNA) – Jannat al-Mu'alla is a cemetery in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where many of the relatives and ancestors of the Prophet Muhammad are buried including, Hazrat Khadija, Abdul Mutallib, and Abu Talib (peace be upon them).
The cemetery was destroyed in 1925 by the Saudi King, Ibn Saud, despite protests by the international Islamic community.
