Quran Recitation by Iranian Teenage Qari Who Was Martyred during Sacred Defense (+Video)
IQNA – Esmaeil Mirzanejad was a young Quran reciter who was martyred during the 1980s Iraq-imposed war on Iran, known as the Sacred Defense.
Esmaeil learned Quran recitation at Quranic sessions held by renowned experts Mohammad TAqi Morovvat and Seyed Mohsen Khoddam Hosseini.
He achieved martyrdom in Iran’s southwestern city of Khorramshahr in 1982 at the age of 15.
