Member of Iran’s Hajj Quranic Convoy Recites Quran in Presence of Leader (+Video)
IQNA – Iranian qari Amir Hossein Anvari recently performed a Quran recitation in the presence of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
Anvari is a member of the Iranian Quranic convoy in Hajj, known as the Noor (light) Convoy.
He recited Verses 197 to 199 of Surah Al-Baqarah as well as Surah An-Nasr during a meeting of the country’s Hajj officials with the leader on Monday.
Every year millions of Muslims from around the world gather in the Mecca for the annual Hajj.
Iran also sends pilgrims as well as a groups of Quran activists, known as the Noor Hajj Delegation.
The members of the delegation hold Quranic programs, including Quran recitation session for the pilgrims in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
