The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, the Iranian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazem Haji Milic, a professor from the University of Sarajevo, and Mohammad Hossein Ansari, Iran’s cultural attaché in Sarajevo. The artist Hassan Mohammadi was also present.
During his address, Ambassador Torkaman expressed gratitude to the artist and the cultural attaché for organizing the exhibition. He highlighted the unique nature of calligraphy as an art form that has consistently been used to express profound ideas.
Professor Haji Milic acknowledged the quality of Iran’s Quranic arts and cited Mohammadi’s works as an exemplar of Iranian artistic excellence.
Mohammadi, in his speech, provided an overview of the exhibition, stating that it showcased a variety of Iranian Quranic calligraphy and other art works.

Ansari referred to calligraphy as shared artistic heritage between the two nations. He expressed optimism that such events would further promote and strengthen this art form.
The event also included a Quranic arts workshop. Additionally, Mohammadi conducted workshops for manuscript experts at the Ghazi Husrev-Bey's Library.
Another highlight of the event was a workshop at the Sarajevo University, where students were introduced to Iranian art.
