Shiraz Taziyeh Performance Marks Anniversary of Ali ibn Hamzeh Martyrdom
IQNA – A Taziyeh performance marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali ibn Hamzeh (AS), the son of Imam Musa Kadhim (AS), was held at the mausoleum of the revered figure in Shiraz, south of Iran.
Taziyeh is a kind of passion play telling the story of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in the 680AD Battle of Karbala, as well as the martyrdom of other revered Shia figures.
