Cultural Envoy Stresses Development of Islamic Tourism between Iran, Malaysia

IQNA – The Iranian Cultural Attaché in Malaysia underscored the need for the enhancement of ties between the two countries in the field of Islamic tourism.   

Habib Reza Arzani said that there should be efforts to introduce the cultural capacities of the two countries to one another. 

He noted that the Iranian Cultural Center participated in a recent tourism exhibition in Malaysia.

Iran’s pavilion at the expo part of the country’s tourism capacities, especially in the field of Islamic tourism, were introduced to visitors, he stated.

Arzani noted that more than 40 of Malaysia’s top companies active in the field of tourism took part in the expo.

The cultural official also highlighted the capacities for the development of religious and pilgrimage tourism.
