Photos: Imam Reza Shrine Prepares for Late Safar Mourning Ceremonies
IQNA – Black banners have been installed at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) as a preparation for holding mourning rituals in early September 2024.
The 28th day of Safar, which falls on Monday, September 2, marks the demise anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS). The 30th day of the lunar month, September 4 this year, is marked as the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shia Imam.
