IQNA – Kuwait's 13th International Quran Award is set to take place from November 13 to 20, 2024.

The event will feature categories such as memorization of the entire Quran with ten styles of recitation, memorization of the Quran for children, and Quran recitation.

The 12th edition of the International Quran Competition in Kuwait saw participation from 121 Quran reciters and memorizers from 70 countries.

Iran to send three representatives

Three Iranian participants will represent their country in the competition.

As in previous years, Iran will send three representatives to compete in the categories of recitation, entire Quran memorization, and children's entire Quran memorization.

According to the Quranic Affairs Center of the Awqaf Organization, Habib Sadaqat will compete in the recitation category, Mohammad Reza Zahedi in entire Quran memorization, and Mohammad Hossein Maleki-Nejad in children's entire Quran memorization.

Habib Sadaqat secured third place in last year's national Quran competition, while Mohammad Reza Zahedi achieved second place in the complete Quran memorization category. Mohammad Hossein Maleki-Nejad also earned second place in the national student Quran competition last year.
