Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization’s (ICRO) International Quran and Propagation Center Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini Neyshabouri made the remark in an article for IQNA on the occasion of the inauguration of the Risalatallah Dar-ol-Quran Center in Indonesia.

He said in the article the Quran is the book of creation that guides humanity to purity and salvation.

The Holy Book invites humanity to living in accordance to divine values and criteria, he said, adding that by getting close to the Quran, one will be led out of darkness of doubts and ambiguities and into the light of certainty.

He said the Muslim Ummah has a brilliant cultural life based on the Quran and that strengthening the Ummah’s Quranic identity will not take place without the adoption of a social life based on Quranic teachings.

Elsewhere in the article, Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini Neyshabouri referred to unity as one of the features of the Muslim Ummah mentioned in the Quran and said Islamic unity is not just a religious commandment but an obvious and rational necessity.

Highlighting Verse 103 of Surah Al Imran, “And hold fast to the Bond of Allah, together, and do not scatter,” he said unity has always been a factor in helping Muslims achieve success.
