Uhud Martyrs District in Medina

IQNA – The first war in which Muslim soldiers disobeyed the orders of the leadership was the Battle of Uhud.

A bloody battle took place on the slopes of Mount Uhud. A war that was a severe test for the faith of the Muslims. In Uhud, the swords told the story of courage and sacrifice. While the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the center, the axis, and the refuge of the Islamic army in the battlefield, negligence and greed turned a group of companions away from the command of the Messenger of God (PBUH), and the battlefield became narrow for the Muslims.

At that difficult time, Ali (AS), the lion of God, stood firm like a mountain against the enemies. His sword, Zulfaqar, gave hope to hee hearts of the fearful.

Ali (AS) made his life a shield for the Prophet (PBUH) and with his unparalleled bravery, he did not let any harm come to the Prophet (PBUH).

Uhud was not only a battlefield, but also a university of sacrifice where Hamza, the uncle of the Prophet (PBUH), the master of martyrs, wrote the lesson of loyalty with his blood.
