These countries are Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Egypt, Oman, Iran and South Africa.
The conference theme is using the leverage potential for regional travel and tourism Islam has received overwhelming response from industry players.
Organizers, Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) in a statement said, ITCM will become an annual national event to promote and increase tourism within the Muslim community.
He said an interesting feature this year is ITCM it as a platform focused perspective to the academic and business aspects of travel by the early Muslims.
''In addition to participation from eight countries, the conference was also attended by tourism industry players as well as state governments,''said the statement.
Add a statement, the organizers were targeting a total of 200 participants ITCM which lasted for two days, on 28 and 29 October 2010, and 200 booths for the event Travel Mart.
In fact, the statement said, Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board has also agreed to take 100 international buyers and media at the show ITCM Travel Mart.
In the first two days, 28 and October 29, Travel Mart is only reserved for participants only, while trading at 30 and October 31, 2010, Travel Mart will be open to the public with free admission.
Islamic Tourism Center, also known as Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) is recognized by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and Tourism Malaysia and supported by the Association of Tourism and Travel Agency Malaysia (MATTA) and also by the Association of Tourism and Travel Agency Bumiputra (BUMITRA).
Meanwhile, according to Director General of ITC, Mr. Zainuddin Abdul Wahab, starting in the early stages of planning, ITCM has received encouraging response from industry players locally and internationally.
