Winners of Kazakhstan Mosques Contest Announced
Top winners of the 2nd national edition of Kazakhstan Mosques Contest were announced on August 4 during a ceremony in Almaty.
According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the closing ceremony was held with the participation of religious figures of the country such as Sheikh Abdul Sattar Darvishali, Grand Mufti and head of the Office for Muslims Religious Affairs in Kazakhstan, Ghol Muhammad Mahan Bait, imam of the city's Grand Mosque.
The contest was organized for children aged 6-12.
Janiey Khanum Tansigh Bayuva and Umarzagh Muhammad, respectively 10 and 6 year-old participants were the first rank winners of the contest.
Salwa Khanum Ali Yuwa, and Julduz Abdulkarim Gheizi, 7 and 8-year-old participants were announced as the second-rank winners and Yusuf Yusufov, Othman Air Hamza and Armen Uzbabayev, 9,11 and 12 year-old participants were awarded as the third rank winners.
