According to the public relations office of Iran’s Cultural Center in Lahore, the organization of the international program was discussed at a meeting with the participation of Abdulreza Soltani, in charge of the Iranian center and Allameh Muhammad Hussein Akbar, head of the seminary.
The Pakistani scholar said that the conference will be held on the occasion of Imam Hussein’s (AS) birth anniversary with the aim of introducing the Imam’s uprising.
Allameh Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Akbar said the international conference with be the first in Pakistan about the third Imam (AS).
He said it will be held for two days in three languages, English, Arabic and Urdu. He added that scientific, political, religious and academic figures from different countries including, Iraq, Lebanon and India have been invited to take part in the conference.
The Iranian official appreciated the seminary’s effort in organization of the conference and said that such programs provide opportunities for intellectuals of various Islamic schools of thought to exchange their views and find proper answers for their doubts.
An Iranian scholar has also been invited by the seminary to present a speech at the conference.
