These wrong deeds are done because humans are not careful about themselves and others and they need to make up for the wrong deeds to get rid of the bad effects of sins.
Sometimes a person may have a chance to do something wrong and he is not scared of anyone to do it; But if he chooses not to do it and gives it up, his action is valuable and he will get a great reward. In relation to God, when a person intends to do something good even if he does not do it, God will reward him because he had a good intention in his heart. But if he intends to do something bad, but does not do the bad thing, it will not count as a sin for him.
There are two kinds of sins; there are some sins that end after they are done, but there are some others that have continuous or permanent effects, which means that even when a person is sleeping or even worshiping God, the effects of the wrong things he did are with him and they may continue until the Day of Judgment. This is emphasized in the Holy Quran: “Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book.” (Surah Yasin, verse 12)
There are three types of sins in this section. The first category of sins is when a person does something wrong whose effects remain on himself and others, such as taking over land, a house, or an object without permission and using it. The effect of such a wrong deed is continuous for humans even if the dies and his children use that thing, the sin will be calculated for that person.
The second category refers to those sins that result from abandoning compulsory acts.
The third type refers to leaving the forbidding of wrong. If a person sees another person doing something wrong and does not warn him to stop doing it, then a sin is recorded for him: “They did not forbid one another from the wrongdoing they were committing. Evil is what they were doing.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah, verse 79)
