Hajj 2023: Iranian Qaris Promote Muslim Unity by Holding Quranic Circles in Mecca

Iran has dispatched a group of qaris under the title of “Noor Convoy” to Mecca and Medina for organizing Quranic sessions and reciting verses from the Holy Quran for pilgrims from across the world.

This year, 20 Quran reciters and memorizers from 12 provinces joined the Noor Convoy which is led by Prominent Qari Ahmad Abolghasemi. They traveled to the land of revelation to share the Islamic Republic of Iran's effort to spread the love of the Quran among the pilgrims. They also held Quran sessions and circles for the pilgrims of Mecca and Medina.

Pilgrims, both Shia and Sunni, showed their passion for the Quran by joining the sessions.

What follows are some of the recitations made by Omid Hosseini-nejad and Mohammad Mahdi Rouhani, two members of the convoy, during circles attended by Sunni pilgrims in Mecca.
