The special oral exam for selecting Egypt’s representatives in the international event will begin on Sunday, July 20, 2025 and continue until July 27, An-Naba website reported.
The top performers in this test will represent Egypt in the competition.
The Awqaf ministry asked the departments affiliated with the ministry to inform participants of the necessity of attending the exam at 10 am.
The 32nd international Quran competition of Egypt will be held in December 2025 in honor of the memory and name of Master Shahat Muhammad Anwar, the late legendary Quran reciter of Egypt and the Islamic world.
Egypt hosts an annual international Quran competition that attracts participants from around the globe.
The contest aims to promote Islamic culture and celebrate the recitation and memorization of the Quran. Last year’s event saw over 100 participants and judges from 60 countries, competing in various categories, including recitation and memorization.
