Iranian Qari Ebrati Recites Verses at Prophet’s Mosque
IQNA – Iranian qari Mehdi Ebrati recited Surah Al-Kafirun in a Quranic circle held at the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.
Every year millions of Muslims from around the world gather in Mecca for the annual Hajj, a pilgrimage to Mecca that every able-bodied and financially able Muslim is obliged to undertake at least once during their lifetime.
Iran also sends pilgrims as well as a group of Quran activists, known as the Noor Hajj Delegation. They departed for Saudi Arabia on May 15 this year and will remain there for about 40 days.
The members of the delegation hold Quranic programs, including Quran recitation sessions for the pilgrims in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
