Photo Gallery: Husseini Infants Ceremony at Imam Reza Shrine
IQNA – A mourning ceremony to remember the 6-month-old infant son of Imam Hussein (AS), Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS), was held on July 12, 2024, at Imam Reza (AS) shrine in Mashhad.
The event is known as “Husseini Infants Gatherings” and was also held across Iran and many other countries on the first Friday of the lunar Hijri month of Muharram (July 12).
Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS) was mercilessly killed on the day of Ashura in the battle of Karbala in the year 680 AD.
