In Pictures: 2025 Husseini Infants Gathering in Tehran
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Concurrent with the lunar Hijri month of Muharram, Husseini infants gatherings were held in different parts of the world, including here in Tehran. The photos depict one of the events held at the shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) in Rey on June 27, 2025.
The event is a congregation of mothers and their babies to remember the 6-month-old infant son of Imam Hussein (AS), Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS), who was mercilessly killed in the battle of Karbala in the year 680 AD.
