Dar-ol-Quran Center to Be Launched in Thai Capital Monday

IQNA – The second Dar-ol-Quran Center will be launched in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, as part of the Risalat Allah Plan.

The plan is implemented by the Quran and Propagation Center of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Thailand. 

The Dar-ol-Quran Center, named Mehr-e Quran (Quran’s Mercy) is aimed at enhancing synergy among Dar-ol-Quran centers of Thailand and Myanmar, according to Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini Neyshaburi, the head of ICRO’s Quran and Propagation International Center.

It is part of efforts to develop networking of Quranic centers and enhancing the effectiveness of Quranic activities, he added.  

He said one of the strategic missions of the Quran and Propagation International Center is guiding Quranic educational, research and propagation processes toward promoting the use of Quranic teachings in personal and social life.

He said the establishment of the new Dar-ol-Quran center in Thailand is aimed at organizing and coordinating Quranic centers of Muslims in Thailand and Myanmar in order for synergy, exchange of experience and elevating their quality.

This is done through holding special online and in-person Quranic courses for children, young adults and adults featuring lessons on Quran recitation, Tajweed, translation, calligraphy and Quranic stories, he stated.

Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Neyshaburi predicted that some 650 individuals will benefit from the courses.
