27th Quran, Sunnah Award Underway in UAE’s Sharjah

IQNA – The preliminary stage of the 27th edition of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Award, which is underway in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates, will conclude on September 29.

The award seeks to engage all sectors of society across the UAE. It is one of many Quranic awards organized by the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment throughout the year.

At the outset of the current edition, a significant number of participants, totaling 2,004 men and women, registered for the competition, reflecting widespread interest and strong commitment within the community to the values of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

Registration for the award opened via the official website of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment on July 15 and continued until August 15, allowing numerous contestants the chance to enroll and take part.

The preliminary rounds began in September and have been conducted in person at the Foundation’s headquarters in Sharjah from September 2, continuing until September 29.

Participants in these rounds aim to showcase their abilities in Quranic recitation and memorization, with this stage being a crucial step towards reaching the final rounds.

The final rounds are set to be held on October 14-27 at the Holy Quran Academy. The winners will be announced on November 5, providing a wonderful opportunity for participants to compete and excel in this prestigious event.
