Brigadier General Esmael Ahmadi Moqaddam, president of the University of National Defense, made the remark while addressing an international forum in Tehran.
Titled “Resistance, Palestine and New World Order”, the forum was organized by the Islamic Awakening World Assembly on Wednesday.
Ahmadi Moqaddam described Al-Aqsa Flood as a stunning and transformative operation that altered the regional order.
He said that during that operation, the Palestinian resistance movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad entered the war against the Zionist regime unitedly and instilled the motivation to fight against global arrogance in the member countries of the axis of resistance.
The operation has significantly diminished Israel’s economic resilience, leading to a withdrawal of foreign investments from Israel, he said, adding that a sense of insecurity has spread throughout the occupied territories.
While this regime is now entering its sixteenth month of war in Gaza, it has not achieved any success in Gaza and has failed to realize its declared objective of destroying Hamas, he noted.
Ahmadi Moqaddam said that the operation disrupted the new Middle East scheme, whose implementation would have completed the project for regional countries’ normalization of ties with the Israeli regime.

He also referred to the Israeli atrocities in the Gaza Strip and said that the weakness of some countries in the region has emboldened Israel.
When the Zionist regime kills tens of thousands of women, children, the elderly, and the young, it is expected that the countries in the region would take a strong stance against the Zionists, he said, adding that, however, their inaction and the silence of global institutions have led Israel to become even more ruthless.
