Mirza Hassan Ali Khan, titled Nasir al-Mulk, the son of Mirza Ali Akbar, began the construction of the mosque in 1877 and completed it in 1888.
This historical building is considered a masterpiece of architecture because the colored glass used in its decoration shines brilliantly in the sunlight, creating a mesmerizing dance of light and a colorful display in the mosque’s prayer hall. This mosque was registered as one of Iran’s national heritage sites on June 30, 1979, with registration number 396.
