“The restoration of the mosque's windows has been completed, and the restoration of the glasses is currently underway,” said Mohammad Reza Esfandi, supervisor of historic sites run by Fars Province’s Awqaf organization.
“We have placed an order for some of the glass, as these are special types, and we intend to replace the broken and worn-out glass,” he added.
The Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque is a Qajar-era mosque in Shiraz.
The mosque includes extensive colored glass in its façade and displays other traditional elements.
When sunlight shines through the colorful glasses, it presents exemplary beauty to the interior of the bedchamber, making this mosque outstandingly aesthetic. The tiling and paintings of the bedchambers are of exceptional beauty as well.

“The approach taken at the mosque was that no chemical materials were used in the restoration of the doors and windows,” he said, adding that all the work on the wooden doors of the mosque was done using natural materials and products.
The main priority in the restoration of this mosque was the roof repair, as moisture had penetrated the building due to rainfall, Esfandi noted, adding that the roof on both sides of the mosque is currently being restored.
