Mashhad Int’l Quran Exhibition to Be Launched on March 3

IQNA – The 18th edition of the Mashhad International Holy Quran Exhibition will open in the holy city on March 3.

Hamid Samadi, the Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Khrasan Razavi Culture and Islamic Guidance Department, made the announcement, adding that the expo had been scheduled to be launched on February 27 but was postponed due to serve cold weather.

The Quranic event will take place at the Bab al-Jawad (AS) Conferences Center of the holy mausoleum of Imam Reza (AS), he said.

Samadi added that it will run from March 3 to 10, from 7 PM to 11 PM.

He also said that 120 booths are predicted to be set up at the expo, adding that if there is demand for more booths, the number will be increased.

The expo is annually organized in Mashhad during the holy month of Ramadan.

Similar Quranic exhibitions are organized during Ramadan in other Iranian cities every year. They include the Tehran International Quran Exhibition, which is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

This year, the month of fasting is expected to begin on March 1, depending on the sighting of the crescent moon of Ramadan.
