Mohammad Ali Ansari, head of the central committee organizing the ceremony, made the remark in a meeting of the committee held on Tuesday at the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA) south of Tehran.
One of the main goals of the committee in organizing the grand ceremony on June 4 is to leverage the active diplomacy of the Islamic Republic at the international level, he said.
“Accordingly, we plan to invite prominent scientific, cultural, and political figures from the Islamic world to attend the event.”
Emphasizing the importance of the presence of foreign guests at this ceremony, he said the attendance of prominent international figures is considered meaningful from the perspective of scholars and policymakers.
“We have always strived to ensure that the ceremony is not limited to domestic admirers, because the beloved Imam, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the Islamic Republic’s Establishment have loyal and devoted followers in many countries around the world, some of whom actively and earnestly follow the path of Imam Khomeini.”
|With the help of God, in addition to the resident ambassadors and foreign dignitaries present in Iran, we will be hosting special guests from other countries,” he went on to say.
