Iranian Expert to Hold Specialized Quranic Course in Islamabad

IQNA – A specialized Quranic course featuring lessons on Sawt (melodious voice) and Lahn (rhythm) will be held in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

 

Iranian Quran master Gholam Reza Shahmiveh will be teaching the course, according to a report.

It will be organized jointly by the Iranian Culture House, the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy in Islamabad, and the Madinat al-Quran Society.

The program aims to raise the level of Quran recitation in Pakistan.

Shahmiveh said the course is a new step towards promoting the status of Pakistani qaris internationally.

According to the Iranian Cultural Attaché in Pakistan, the participants will take the course in two groups of youths and professionals.
