Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Wins Saudi Arabia’s Labaytum Award

IQNA – The Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran won the Labaytum Award for Excellence in Hajj Pilgrim Services.

The closing ceremony of the 2025 Hajj, attended by ministers and heads of Hajj authorities from the Islamic world, was held in Mecca on Sunday evening, June 8, 2025.

 

The organization was recognized as outstanding in providing exceptional executive services to pilgrims.

It was hosted by Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the Saudi minister of Hajj and Umrah, at the central building of the Saudi ministry of Hajj.

At the event, Saudi officials presented a report on the planning carried out for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, detailing their expert evaluations of the quantitative and qualitative performance of various Islamic countries in serving the Guests of the Merciful.

The Labaytum Award and plaque were presented by the Saudi minister of Hajj to Ali Reza Bayat, the head of Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
