The Quran contest features memorization of the Holy Book and the Seerat competition focuses on the life, teachings, and virtues of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The Bangladesh Islamic Foundation is going to organize the event at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka.
Religious Affairs Adviser A F M Khalid Hossain will be present as the chief guest at the program while Religious Affairs Secretary AKM Aftab Hossain Pramanik will join as the special guest.
Director General (Senior District and Sessions Judge) of the Bangladesh Islamic Foundation Abdus Salam Khan will preside over the event.
The Bangladesh Islamic Foundation has taken this initiative with the aim of spreading Islamic education, culture and values, awakening the morality of the young generation and achieving excellence in religious leadership.
The conference will award nine winners from each of the three groups participating in the national-level Quran Memorization and Seerat competitions. In addition, among the trained imams, three best imams at the national level, 24 at the divisional level, 192 imams at the district level and 64 best imams who are involved with farming will be given cash, crests and certificates.
