Alireza Zare Shahrabadi, director-general of Propagation and Religious Affairs Department at the Office of the Supreme Leader’s Representative in the Islamic Azad University, told IQNA that the university had been chosen to host this year’s festival.
According to the initial schedule, the festival was supposed to be held in September, he noted.
However, due to the current circumstances following the Zionist regime’s aggression and the implementation of Operation True Promise 3, and considering that September marks the admission period for new students—when they are occupied with course selection and registration—it was decided to postpone the final round of the festival to a later date, the official stated.
Zare Shahrabadi noted that the postponement had been communicated to relevant academic authorities, including the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, and emphasized that in order to ensure a more magnificent and befitting celebration of this national event, it was decided to hold it in the autumn, most likely in November.
