Nat’l Qualifying Round of Algeria Quran Contest to Begin Tomorrow

IQNA – The national qualifying competition for the 27th National Holy Quran Week in Algeria will kick off on Tuesday, according to the ministry of religious affairs and Awqaf.

This Quranic event follows local qualifiers held in 58 provinces since July. 

The top winners from each of the six categories will now compete in the national round.

These national qualifiers will be held virtually via video conference from August 26-28.

The competition will select the top ten participants from each category to advance to the main event in Boumerdès, scheduled for September 15-17.

The event, held in celebration of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) birthday, will also feature a scholarly forum on “National Cohesion and Societal Solidarity in the Light of Quranic Values.”
