The competition will take place from October 14 to 30. It features seven main categories that include memorization, recitation, and performance, Bahrain News Agency reported on Tuesday.
Participation is open to men and women of all ages, including students, persons with disabilities, inmates, and non-Arabic speakers.
The Bahrain Grand Holy Quran Award, first launched in 1996, is one of the kingdom’s most prominent religious and cultural events. It seeks to promote Quranic memorization, encourage excellence in recitation, and foster greater understanding of the Holy Quran among diverse segments of society.

The 29th edition, held earlier in May 2025, drew 4,242 participants—1,598 men and 2,644 women—and honored winners across several categories, including special prizes for students, inmates, people with disabilities, and non-Arabic speakers.
Now in its 30th year, the award continues to serve as a national platform for celebrating Quranic achievement and preserving Islamic heritage in Bahrain.
