Afer 14 years of efforts by Iranian engineers and artists and the support and participation of enthusiasts and devotees of Imam Ali (AS), the Hazrat Zahra (SA) Courtyard project next to the shrine in Najaf Ashraf, which is also considered the largest development project of this shrine, will be inaugurated on December 17.
Various parts of this courtyard have already been opened gradually in recent years and made available to pilgrims of the mausoleum, especially pilgrims taking part in the Arbaeen procession.
However, only now have all parts of the project, including the museum, library, almshouse, administrative section and parking lot, been completed.
During a ceremony, it will be completely handed over to the Astan (custodianship) of the mausoleum.
The construction of this courtyard was carried out under the supervision and efforts of the martyr General Qassem Soleimani, with the contribution of devotees of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) from all over the world (especially the people of Iran), and by Iranian engineers and artists over a period of 14 years (since 2011).
