Israel Launches Strikes on Southern, Eastern Lebanon

IQNA – The Zionist regime launched extensive airstrikes targeting areas in southern and eastern Lebanon.

Lebanese sources said the Israeli regime’s warplanes bombed areas in the country’s south and east on Sunday, Al-Mayaseen reported.

The news network reported 25 Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon in just half an hour today.

The Zionist regime has continued its attacks despite a United States-brokered ceasefire in 2024, which ended more than a year ‌of heavy fighting between its forces and Hezbollah.

Over recent weeks, the Israeli regime has significantly escalated its attacks on Lebanon alongside intensified US political pressure and threats aimed at pushing Beirut toward normalizing relations with the Zionist enemy.

Meanwhile, Lebanese officials have taken no serious action in response to the continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire, instead relying on US initiatives, despite accusations that Washington has given Israel a green light to continue its aggression against Lebanon.
