Official Stresses Using Quran Expo’s Capacity to Introduce Word of Revelation to World

IQNA – An Iranian Quranic official emphasized the importance of employing the capacity and potential of the upcoming Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition to introduce the word of revelation to people around the world.

Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Reza Arbab Soleimani, head of the Quran and Etrat Center of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, made the remark in a meeting held in Tehran on Tuesday to discuss organizing the 33rd edition of the expo.

He referred to the presence of foreign guests at the exhibition and said there should be proper planning to use this opportunity.

He said that with the help of Quran activists, efforts will be made to introduce the Quran to the world in the best way.  

Elsewhere in his remarks, the official referred to the acts of Quran desecration in recent riots in Iran and said such moves come because those behind them have failed to recognize the sublime culture of the Iranian people and their religious and value-based identity.

During the meeting, proposals and ideas were mentioned about organizing the international section of the upcoming Quran exhibition.

It was emphasized that the international section, with a focus on Quranic diplomacy, will provide a platform for promoting the Holy Quran as a means for cultural, spiritual and scholarly convergence of the Muslim Ummah.

There will be forums, meetings, cultural and arts activities, specialized workshops and honoring of international Quran activists at this section, aimed at elevating the Quranic diplomacy and enhancing cultural and intellectual interactions among nations and Quranic institutions of the world.

There will also be booths introducing the Quranic activities of different countries and international Quran institutes, providing an opportunity for exchanging experiences and creating networks of ties among Quran activists in the world.

The Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition is annually held during the holy month of Ramadan by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

With various programs including specialized sessions, educational workshops, Quranic gatherings, and activities tailored for children and teenagers, the international event aims to promote Quranic concepts and activities.

The exhibition also serves as a platform to showcase the latest Quranic achievements in Iran and a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
