IRGC Forces Ready to Carry Out Leader’s Commands: Top Commander
Major General Mohammad Pakpour made the remark in a message issued Thursday ahead of the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), which is marked as Pasdar (Guard) Day in Iran.
The third of Shaaban marks the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), the master of martyrs and the leader of the noble people of the world, he said, noting that it was named the “Guards Day” by the eternal initiative of Imam Khomeini (RA).
“I extend my congratulations and best wishes to the brave members of the IRGC who are shining at the forefront of the warriors of Islam to defend the ideals, achievements, and values of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Establishment, protect the country’s national security, and serve Iran and Iranians sincerely.”
He added, “We are Pasdar, we will remain Pasdar, and under the grace and mercy of God, with other faithful and devoted fighters of our beloved Iran, in a united, and steely line, we will make the shield of the homeland’s authority and security stronger than ever before against the storm of American-Zionist hostility and hatred.”
Major General Pakpour further warned the criminal enemies, especially the United States and the fake and racist Zionist regime, to learn from historical experiences and the imposed 12-day war and avoid any miscalculations, lest they face a more painful and regrettable fate.

He also honored the memory of the martyrs of the IRGC and other martyrs and asked God Almighty for the continued success and brilliance of the IRGC members in carrying out their missions, especially in the current sensitive historical circumstances, in the light of the grace of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent) and in compliance with the wise measures, orders, and guidelines of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces.
