Leader’ Representatives Visit Veterans on Hazrat Abbas Birth Anniversary

IQNA – On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Abbas (AS), representatives from Leader of the Islamci Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei visited homes of a number of veterans.

The auspicious occasion marks Veterans’ Day in Iran.

Thirteen delegations in Tehran representing the Leader of the Islamic Revolution visited the homes of these distinguished veterans and their families.

A number of these delegations also visited some of those injured in the recent riots and terrorist operations in some hospitals.

They talked with the veterans and were informed about their concerns, living conditions, and treatment, and expressed appreciation for the patience and sacrifice of these great men.

Every year, various ceremonies are organized in different parts of the world on the birth anniversaries of Imam Hussein (AS), Hazrat Abbas (AS) and Imam Sajjad (AS), which respectively fall on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of the lunar Hijri month of Sha’aban (January 3,4, and 5 this year).
