İstanbul Filmgoers to Get the Best of Iranian Cinema

Cinema enthusiasts in İstanbul have the chance this week to see a selection of feature films from Iranian cinema at the Tarık Zafer Tunaya Culture Center.

Organized by the Cultural and Social Works department of the Greater İstanbul Municipality with support from the cultural office of the Iranian Consulate General in İstanbul, Iranian Film Week runs until Sunday, May 6. All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles and admission is free. Screenings take place daily at 2:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Among films in the lineup are "Behind the Curtain of Fog," directed by Parviz Sheik Tadi; "Birth of a Butterfly" by Mojtaba Raie; "Under the Moonlight" by Reza Mirkarimi; and "Maybe Some Other Time" by Bahram Beyzaie.
