Grand Ayatollah Safi’s Message to German Shia Muslims Conference
-- Islam is a monotheistic religion which values justice, brotherhood and compassion, Grand Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani said in a message to German Shia Muslims Conference.
He said Islam equally takes all nations and races into consideration.
The grand Ayatollah thanked the participants and organizers of the conference and hoped that the meeting would have great achievements.
“In the German society, which has been an undeniable seat of great orientalists who showed a tendency towards Islam, the conferences of the kind can significantly serve citizens and help them learn about the true Islamic values.”
He considered peace and friendship as the basic principles of all Divine religions. “All sorts of cruelty, violence, aggression, terrorism, and massacre are strongly condemned in Islam and Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) teachings” he stressed.
Grand Ayatollah Safi wished the participants in the conference all the best and encouraged them to carry on with good work aimed at serving human society.
