Mosques in France Welcome Non-Muslims

-- On the occasion of “Cultural Heritage Days in Europe” on September 17 and 18, the doors of various mosques in France were opened to non-Muslim citizens.
According to mosque-lyon website, the mosques hosted non-Muslim French people who visited the religious places to become more familiar with Islamic principles and Muslims’ rituals.
Lyon Grand Mosque as one of the most active mosques of the country published a call for all citizens inviting them to visit the mosques on the two days to both see the Islamic architecture of the places and directly talk with Muslims.
Those in charge of the mosque have expressed hope that holding the day of open doors of mosques and religious centers, provide an opportunity for Muslims to introduce the true Islam to the citizens as a religion of peace and to fight with Islamophobia in this way.
