German Mosques Open Doors to Non-Muslims

With the motto of “Muhammad (PBUH), Prophet of Mercy”, mosques in Germany will open their doors to non-Muslims today.
According o a report by IQNA’s ICRO chapter, the Coordination Council of Muslims in Germany (KRM) has invited Germans, especially activists in social and political fields, to visit mosques.
The theme of this year’s program is introducing the character of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
Aiman Mazyek, a spokesperson for the KRM, said, “We hope this program will help to give German citizens a new perspective about Islam and the Holy prophet (PBUH).”
Today’s programs in German mosques include lectures, forums, book fairs and exhibitions.
Germany is home to some 4.3 million Muslims (over five percent of the population) based on a 2009 census.
