Ali Akbar (AS) Husseyniyyah Opens in Malaysia

On the occasion of Tasu’a and Ashura (9th and 10th of Muharram), the first Husseyniyyah of Iranians residing in Malaysia was opened in Ampang Point region in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.
According to IQNA’s branch in South East Asia, the center named Ali Akbar (AS) was opened by an Iranian citizen aiming to host all Iranians attending mourning ceremonies during the first decade of Muharram.
A program was also held last night on the 10th of the month and martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions.
Courses on interpretation of the Quran are also held at the center for women on Fridays from 5 to 7 pm. local time.
The Husseyniyyah will also host other ceremonies in various religious occasions.
