“Islam and Judaism” Encyclopedia Published Online

An online encyclopedia of Islam and Judaism has been released for the first time ever by Hawzah (seminary).
According to Hawzah news agency, Hojat-ol-Islam Ahmad Akbari, director of Howzah website announced that the collection has been published with the aim of facilitating researches for seminarians and university scholars.
17 main entries and 95 sub-entries such as book abstracts, questions and answers, abstracts of papers and theses by Hawzah and university students, newspapers abstracts and parts of magazines have been included at the encyclopedia.
Discussions on general characteristics of Judaism, monotheism in Islam and Judaism, revelation in Islam and Judaism, promised savior in Islam and Judaism, religious rituals in Islam and Judaism, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Jewish people, history of Judaism, aspects of Jewish beliefs, and moral aspects of Judaism have been categorized as the main entries of the scientific work.
Jewish principles and injunctions, the sacred book of Judaism, Jewish sects, Judaism in today’s world, prophethood in Islam and Judaism, Torah, Quran and Torah, Muslim scholars and Jewish scholars are also some other main entries of the collection.
Among the subentries available for the users are an introduction to Judaism, story of Moses (AS) and Jews in Quran, marriage in Quran and Torah, Hijab in Judaism, resurrection in Judaism, fasting in Judaism, Holy Prophet (PBUH) in Torah and Bible, end times in Judaism and Christianity, differences between Islam and Christianity, etc.
